CEIOPS publishes Convergence 2009 report

The report provides an overview of CEIOPS’ achievements in respect of the ECOFIN Roadmap and G20’s 2009 recommendations. It describes what CEIOPS has done, amongst other things, to strengthen transparency and accountability and reinforce international cooperation.
CEIOPS’ Report on Convergence 2009 offers an overview of its achievements in respect of the ECOFIN Roadmap on convergence 2009. It describes CEIOPS’ convergence-related achievements throughout the past year and offers a summary of the status of work undertaken to implement ECOFIN’s Conclusions and the G20’s recommendations.
CEIOPS’ achievements cover, among others, the following areas:

· Enhancing sound regulation
· G20 recommendations
· Ensuring financial firms implement policies to better manage liquidity of risks.
· Promoting integrity in financial markets
