SummaryWe are very pleased to announce to clients that John Arrowsmith has joined Eurozone Advisors as a Senior Discussion Partner. John Arrowsmith, has been closely associated with the process of European monetary and financial market integration for almost twenty years; as Senior Adviser on Western European and EU Affairs at the Bank of England and, most recently (1999-2004), as the representative of the UK government responsible for monitoring and advising the UK Treasury and Foreign Office on the policies of the European Central Bank. After 4 1/2 years in Frankfurt, John is now back in London and will take a leading role in advising EZA clients on European Central Bank policy and European monetary and financial integration. A Visiting Fellow at the National Institute of Economic and Social Resrach, John brings with him unparalleled knowledge of European monetary affairs and a wide range of personal contacts, at the highest levels and at working level, at the ECB, the Bundesbank and other key financial institutions in Frankfurt, which he will be maintaining through frequent visits there.
