In a new video commentary, our Director Brendan Donnelly discusses the role of Brexit-related issues in the current Conservative leadership race. He compares the Conservative debate with the European discussion now taking place within the Labour Party.
He concludes
that the main British political parties are failing to reflect growing
public unhappiness with Brexit. They are joined in this failure by
significant portions of the mass media, the commentariat and academia,
who are unwilling even to engage in debate about the UK’s rejoining the
EU.
