BEUC comments on Insurance Mediation

In the light of the consumers' interest BEUC is very concerned about the limitation to the scope of application of the directive, which significantly limits its potential benefits to consumers. The main points of criticism belong to definition problems concerning insurance intermediaries in general and the information system and registration of insurance intermediaries.
