-The Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee approved the Draft Recommendation of rapporteur Alain Lipietz without amendments.
The Committee therefore followed the rapporteurs opinion who stated that “although there are a small number of points where the Common Position still could be improved, the overriding concern is to have this new, reinforced regulatory framework in place as soon as possible.”
Vote in Parliament will take place in the Parliaments November session.
